Children and Young People

Christ Church seeks to welcome, include and accept all ages and abilities and genuinely wants to see everyone flourish in their walk with God at whatever stages of life they are at. Consequently the presence of children and young people is both a blessing and a gift. We aim to provide inclusive worship during the service as well as age appropriate activities. During the 10 a.m. Parish Communion we offer

The youth group meets on a Sunday evening 5-7 p.m.

Our all age worship generally follows a theme and is a great opportunity for the whole church family to grow together in faith and discipleship.

We have close links with 3 local Primary Schools (Links to their websites please)

who frequently visit the church for lessons and acts of worship. The clergy and other members of the congregation are also involved as governors or with assemblies.

We have a newly established partnership with the Little Hands Nursery (Link) as well as the uniformed organisations that meet in the Scout HQ. Our Mothers Union branch also runs a weekly parent and toddler group for 0-3 yr olds called Wheels and Squeals on Wednesday mornings 10-11:30 a.m. in the upper hall during term time £1 per session just drop in!
