Update 2022

Christ Church supports Epsom and Ewell Foodbank. We are making a special effort to contribute at Easter, Harvest and Christmas.

Give, pray, volunteer, work for change.

Please do check what is most needed. Foodbank is our Harvest Charity. Harvest Festival is celebrated on Sunday, 2nd October!

The cost-of-living crisis is pushing more and more people into poverty. Structures need to change to bring about a sustainable living for all and this is the long term aim of the Trussell Trust which supports foodbanks throughout the UK. However, we have an escalating emergency and we need to provide food now:

‘People can’t afford to put food on the table. This isn’t the cost-of-Living crisis . It’s the cost of surviving. Donate now to help families across the UK. With soaring energy prices and sky-high inflation, families are struggling to afford both the bills and meals. Please help by making a gift - whatever you give will allow families to do more than just survive.’

You can donate money online, you can give donations in supermarkets, you can help as a volunteer. You can leave donations in church and they will be taken to the Foodbank depot for distribution. To check what the Foodbank needs most visit their website. Alternatively, contact Sue/Berwick and they will advise what is required as well as collect any goods from you, if you would find that helpful.
