Contract: Part-time (10-15 hours)
An exciting, challenging and rewarding role has opened up at Christ Church Epsom for a gifted administrator to join us as a vital member of the team. We are seeking an organised individual to ensure the smooth running of the Parish life, supporting staff and volunteers in the delivery of the varied activities of the church and ensuring that communication is as effective as possible within our community.

Christ Church is a lively Anglican church, situated on the edge of Epsom Common and within easy walking distance of Epsom town centre. Our vision is to be “a Living Well and living well” as we seek to engage with people in our local community, and as we equip our current congregation to serve Jesus and share the Good News.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing the church office as an effective communications hub for all church life through the week as well as handle the day-to-day venue bookings, invoicing, and church diary.

Co-ordinating all church administration in an efficient and accurate manner, releasing pastoral and teaching staff for church growth.

Managing social media communication on behalf of the church.

Will be well-organised, a team player and enjoy working alongside a variety of people from different backgrounds.

Will have a secure working knowledge of popular office systems including Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Will have marketing and social media expertise including mail chimp newsletters and a creative approach to building the profile of the church both to current members and to the wider community.
