Welcome to Christ Church
Christ Church is home to an open, generous and diverse community made up of individuals at all stages of their faith journeys – all striving to live out and boldly proclaim our faith boldly and lovingly. We offer a warm welcome to all who seek the love of God. Whatever your particular nature or circumstances, this includes you.
We are a dynamic Parish Church within the Church of England, though our members come from a wide range of Christian traditions as well as those who have discovered faith for the first time. We work cooperatively with the two other Anglian Churches and other denominations in Epsom.
As a broad church, encompassing a range of theological positions, we seek to live faithfully and with integrity as Disciples of Christ, following what is revealed to us in the Scriptures and by the active work of the Holy Spirit. We’re a church committed to mission and reaching out with the good news of Christ in word and action.
We have members of all ages, some of whom meet regularly in Home Groups, and the majority of whom are actively involved in one or more aspects of our church life. We have a well-developed system of pastoral care which plays an important role in our church life.
We’re blessed with a growing ministry to children and young people through church run groups and a programme of school’s work.
Our church facilities are used by many people during the week and this forms one of our key bridges to the wider community. In particular we run Wheels and Squeals a parent and toddler group which helps us to connect with lots of new parents and children.
This is just a snap-shot of some of the things that go on in our daily life – there is so much more! We hope this website gives you a flavour of our church and what is important to us, and we hope you’re as excited about the ministry of this church as we are.

Earth Hour 2020
A video message from the Revd. Rosemary Donovan.
Join me by turning off your lights on Saturday 28th March between 20:30-21:30 and sharing this news #earthhour2020.
Earth Hour is the world’s biggest switch off event – a moment millions come together for nature, people and the planet. During these difficult times, we need more than ever to find ways to connect with each other and inspire hope for the future. Our health, happiness and future depend on nature – so this year, look after yourself, each other and our planet. Earth Hour remains a show of solidarity with one another demonstrating our shared commitment to protecting our planet and nature, a message more important than ever in these uncertain times and another demonstration of our commitment to be an Eco Church.
