Young People at Christ Church

CCYouth
Sundays 5pm – 7pm in the Upper Hall

Young people from year 7 up to 18 are invited to our youth club for faith, fun and friendship.

Around half an hour is spent discussing a topic relevant to members’ lives and considering it from a Christian perspective. The rest of the time is spent is spent on socialising, crafts, sport or games. Suggestions for discussion topics and activities are very much encouraged.

Snacks and hot and cold drinks are provided.

A couple of times a term, CCYouth meet up with other youth groups in the Deanery for joint activities – film nights, bowling, crazy golf, barbecues and more. 


Youth Home Group
Fortnightly during term time, Mondays 6.30-7.30pm in the Vestry or Upper Hall

Looking at different contemporary topics relevant to young people’s lives, chatting about them and looking at what the Bible has to say about them.

Drinks and snacks provided.


Youth Alpha Course

Youth Alpha courses run dependant on demand, for young people to explore life’s big questions and find out more about the Christian faith.


Confirmation

Confirmation is offered once a year. Preparation for confirmation may be at CCYouth or at a special preparation day held in church.


Youth and Children’s worker Sofia is always happy to answer any questions about youth activities at Christ Church.
