Christ Church will celebrate it’s 150th anniversary on 18th October 2026. In the run up, we have a whole year of events for fun and fundraising, as well as special celebration services.

Alpha Course
Beginning after Easter
Running for 10 weeks
Ever felt curious? Come along and ask us anything. No judgement. No pressure. But plenty of biscuits.

Mothering Sunday All Age Communion Service
Sunday 15th March
10.00am
A special service led by our Mothers’ Union celebrating the 150th anniversary of the organisation. Including a distribution of posies and a collection in support of the Mothers’ Union (an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide). Everyone is very welcome.
The Big Spring Clean Up
Saturday 21st March 10am
Come and help make our church sparkle for Easter – inside and out. Many hands make light work – and hot drinks and pastries will be provided.
CC150 Fundraising Plant Sale
Saturday 16th May 12.30pm-4pm
Better value than the garden centre – come and stock up on outdoor and indoor plants. Tea, coffee, cakes and scones too.
Tea Club
Meets four times a year
Relaxed and social afternoon tea, usually with a speaker. Lifts to and from the event can be provided if needed.
