Summer Series – Sunday Outdoor Worship
27th July; 3rd August; 10th August; 17th August; 24th August all at 10am
31st August at 4pm

Our summer series of outdoor worship in the church grounds begins on Sunday 27th July at 10am and ends on 31st August at 4pm with a special service including a barbecue. Everyone welcome – bring children of all ages. You can bring your dog too.


Summer of Hope Sponsored Walk with the Mothers’ Union
28th September 11am

Easy walk followed by picnic lunch. Meet at the church hall for a walk of about one and a quarter hours duration – family friendly, bring your children, friends, neighbours and of course your dogs are welcome too. If you don’t wish to walk but would like lunch, arrive for 12.20pm. 
Funds raised go to the Mothers’ Union Summer of Hope Appeal supporting women and families affected by the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Cash donations on the day please.
If staying for lunch, please let us know numbers of adults and children for catering purposes.


Macramé Workshop
6th September 1.30pm-4.30pm

A relaxed, friendly three-hour workshop led by expert crafter Imogen Currie, who will help you make your own charming wall hanging to take home. All materials provided.
Macramé knotting is a great skill to have – ideal for making personal birthday and Christmas gifts. Learn how to make essential knots – including the lark’s head knot, square knot, horizontal and diagonal double half-hitch knots, all using natural rope.
Beginners welcome – no previous experience required.  


Wellness Wednesdays
August 13th; September 10th; October 8th; November 12th

Living Well for health – physical, mental, social and spiritual. Meet at Christ Church.

Come for communion at 9.30am, coffee and a quiet space in church at 10.15am, walk at 11am, lunch at The Jolly Coopers around 1pm. Come to any or all of these activities – just arrive any time you are free. All are very welcome. Do bring friends, neighbours, children and dogs. 

A new walk each month, about 3-5 miles, mostly off road. We will be going in any weather, except a hurricane! (Participants walk at their own risk.)

Tea Club
Meets four times a year

Relaxed and social afternoon tea, usually with a speaker. Lifts to and from the event can be provided if needed.
